\nCAEN RFID, leading European supplier of UHF RFID products, announces today the availability of a new product of the EASY2read family: the Fully Integrated UHF Bluetooth reader. The CAEN A828BT
\nis a UHF portable reader compliant with ISO 18000 6B and ISO 18000 6C\/EPC C1G2 standards.<\/p>\n

The A828BT can operate either in wired mode, using the USB connection, or in wireless mode through the Bluetooth\u00ae. Thanks to Bluetooth\u00ae communication the A828BT can be a perfect add on to any Bluetooth\u00ae device such as PC, Smart Phone, PDA, BlackBerry\u00ae devices for proximity UHF readings. <\/p>\n

“This new reader” says Giovanni Grieco, Sales and Marketing Director of CAEN RFID “is a cost effective solution which merges two wireless technologies, namely Bluetooth\u00ae and UHF RFID, aimed to support a number of applications from inventory management, to point of sales, to field sales force and more”. <\/p>\n

The A828BT comes with a number of accessories, including a two slots battery charger that allows to house the reader together with an additional battery. The A828BT features a clip-on pistol grip handle. The handle is lightweight and simple to attach. It is durable, performing extremely well in multiple drop tests and enables a full working day operation thanks to its long battery life. <\/p>\n
