CUSTOM ENGINEERING<\/strong> and CAEN RFID<\/strong> are proud to announce the availability of a newthermal and UHF RFID printer for baggage tags and boarding cards for airports.<\/h3>\n

CUSTOM and CAEN RFID have joined their efforts tooptimize their resources and share their experience in the field of RFID printers and solutions, in order to address the demanding requests ofairport customers and to offer solutions and products at the forefrontof technology, optimizing the identification time for baggage.<\/p>\n

The new CUSTOM printer, Mod. TK302<\/strong>, and its OEM version for integration, Mod. KPM302<\/strong>, integrates the CAEN RFID “Quark”<\/strong> module, using the UHF RFID technology, indicated by IATA as the natural evolution of barcode for baggage tags.<\/p>\n

The printer consists of a compact and robust productthat can be easily integrated in the airport infrastructure at check-in desks. It is already compatible with the major software platforms for airports.<\/p>\n

“The RFID identification of airport baggage is undoubtedly the future, in order to reduce the costs associated with errors with tracked baggage and baggage-passenger reconciliation” says Gabriele Ruggieri, Product Marketing Manager of CUSTOM, “The success achieved in the recent conferences by our new TK302 RFID, Check-in in Las Vegas and Check-In Asia in Kuala Lumpur,
\ntogether with the experience on the field in the 12 airports in China and the 5 ones in Italy that successfully use CUSTOM printers, will lead towards future oriented architectures based on RFID technology, where CAEN plays a leading role worldwide”.<\/p>\n
