CAEN RFID, a global provider of UHF RFID products today announced the release of the new RA0003<\/a>, a novel UHF RFID Multiplexer of its Easy2Read\u00a9<\/a> family.<\/p>\n

The RA0003<\/a> is a 1 to 4 UHF antenna multiplexer that allows to expand read points management of CAEN RFID Easy2Read\u00a9 Family products.<\/p>\n

Typical usages of the device are the following:<\/p>\n

Extension of number of read points of single antenna readers (e.g. Muon<\/a> or Quark<\/a>) for low\/medium range portal applications, access control and all others low cost installations requiring up to 4 antenna management.<\/p>\n

Extension of number of read points of multiantenna readers (e.g. A941<\/a> or Ion<\/a>) for smart shelves installations, manufacturing lines and all others applications requiring a large number of antennas to be connected.<\/p>\n

“Our new Multiplexer is a powerful tool to reduce the cost per antenna of RFID installations” said Giovanni Grieco, Business Development Manager of CAEN RFID. “We have already implemented this device in smart shelves and smart drawers applications and we believe that it will enable further applications with multiple read points”.<\/p>\n

The RA0003 is available today through CAEN RFID’s sales network<\/a>.<\/p>\n
